Keller, Administrator to the Estate of William Williams (dec.) unto Thomas A. Davis of the City of Savannah and Eli W. Hodges of Bulloch County. Witneseth-- that whereas William Williams departed this life the 9th of May, 1863 and whereas Catherine Williams, the wife of said testator was appointed Executrix and Mathew Lufburrow Executor. And whereas Catherine Williams did execute a Will on the 6th of November 1875, wherein she appointed Stephen F. Keller her sole Executor and whereas she departed this life 19th of February 1881. And whereas the said Stephen F. Keller deemed advisable to sell at public sale the residence of the late William Williams known as Park Place. Also, all the right, title and interest which the said William Williams or his estate had under an Act of the Legislature passed December 28th, 1836 authorizing William Williams of Bulloch County and Willis Younge of Screven County to build a bridge across the Great Ogeechee River at or near Garden Hill Bluff The right to build the bridge was exposed for sale & knocked down to Thomas A. Davis and Eli W. Hodges for $4800 dollars, they became the purchasers of the plantation known as Park Place and the said right to build the bridge. The plantation, Park Place, the residence of William Williams contained 2171 acres in 2 tracts, one known as the House tract was bounded on the North by the Great Ogeechee River, the East by William Hagin and Arthur Kirby, on the West by Thomas A. Davis and William A. Hodges, said to contain 1796 ½ acres, said survey dated September 26, 1866 and recorded in the Bulloch County Surveyors Office in Book G page 154. And the 2nd tract known as the Millen Tract, bounded on the North by William A. Hodges and a portion of the House Tract, East by Thomas Hagin, formerly the Estate of Jeptha Hagin, South by the Estate of jeptha Hagin and West by William A. Hodges, Hardy B. Hagin by a survey recorded in the Bulloch County Surveyors Office, Book G page 155, said to contain 375 acres. Witnesses: s/ Stephen F. Keller E.M. Johnson Administrator _.
