George Washington Mobley became a member of Company C, 22nd Regiment, Georgia Heavy Artillery. He enlisted 20 April 1864 in Decatur, Georgia by Major Andrews, and was paroled 3 May 1865 in Greenboro, North Carolina. Additional Comments: Born 17 Aug 1824 in Burke County, GA and died there about 1880, he married Christiana Antoinette "Nancy" Heath.
