Roster Of Revolutionary Soldiers In Georgia
Hugh Irwin, b. Ireland, 1727. Emigrated to America, and settled in North Carolina; 
moved to Georgia, 1757; died in Burke County, Georgia, 1805. Married -----; and
had four sons and one daughter: Jared, John Lawson; Alexander; William; Margaret. 
Was a Patriot during the Revolutionary War and was given a grant of land in Georgia
for his military service, August 20, 1781.
