Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the Habersham Methodist church, near Munnerlyn. The Rev. Douhit will officiate. Interment will be in the churchyard cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Sterling Chance, Robert Stapleton, Hugh Tidwell, Jesse Inglett, Sim Wimberly and Mallory Jenkins. The body will remain at the Hopper-Deloach Funeral home until the hour of the funeral. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Jessie Mae Frazier Brookins; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Price, Alexander, Ga.; son, John W. Brookins, Jr., Alexander;parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Brookins, Munnerlyn; two sisters,Mrs. Louie Flakes, Alexander, and Mrs. Wulber Johnson, Alexander; two brothers, Parker and Bonnie Brookins, Alexander. IN THE OBIT IT STATES JOHN WILLIAM BROOKINS IS A SR. AND THE SON IS A JUNIOR. CORRECTION TO THIS IS THE SON LISTED IN THIS OBIT IS NOT A JR. HIS NAME IS JOHN D. BROOKINS, NOT JOHN W. BROOKINS, JR. D IS FOR "D" AND DOES NOT STAND FOR ANYTHING ELSE. John William is buried with out any markings on his grave.
