ERNEST C. MOBLEY

WAYNESBORO, GA, May 1 
     Ernest C. Mobley. 68, passed away early Thursday night after a short 
illness at the home of his son in Gracewood, GA.
     Mr. Mobley was the husband of the late Nellie White Mobley of Burke 
County and the son of the late C. C. Mobley & Amanda Dixon Mobley of Girard, 
Ga.He was a member of ----can't read----Methodist Church of Screven County.
     He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. B. J. Tomlin, Jr., Waynesboro, GA;  
six sons, Norbert W., Howard E., Carson W., Tom E., Ernest C., Jr., Laurie E. -
---can't read------.  Two sisters, Mrs. Eula Newton of Savannah, Ga, Mrs. 
Ethel Martin of Atlanta, Ga; two brothers, Mr. D. M. Mobley of Atlanta, GA and 
D. H. Mobley of----- can't read-----children-----.
     Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from thr 
BethanyMethodist church at Girard with the Rev. E. R. Lewis, a local pastot, 
officiating.Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
     Active pallbearers will be A. G. Newton, Malcolm Mobley, J. C. Lovett, 
Fully Dixon, Emory Dixon, and Robert Mobley
     Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Johnson, Cleve Johnson, Sim Wimberly, 
J. G. Odom, T. Q. Dixon, M. S. Jones, T. R. Long, W. L. Oglesby, Wilson 
Ellison, Louie Frazier, Edwin Bargeron and E. L. Hayman.
