Mr. Norbert Mobley

HEPHZIBAH -- Mr. Norbert White Mobley, 79, of 2227 Willis Foreman Road, died 
Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 
Augusta. 
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at DeLoach Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with 
the Rev. Willard Godbee officiating. Burial will be in Bethany United 
Methodist Church Cemetery, Girard. 
Mr. Mobley, a native of Screven County, had lived in Richmond County 30 years. 
He had retired as a truck driver and was an Army veteran of World War II. He 
was a Methodist. 
Survivors include his wife, Christine T. Mobley; a daughter, Louise M. Malin, 
Hephzibah; a brother, Tom Mobley, Girard; a sister, Janell Tomlin, Waynesboro; 
and a grandchild, Angelyn Louise Murphey Harrison and two great-grandchildren, 
Norbert Christopher & Kathryn Louise Harrison. 
Pallbearers will be Paul Harrison, Grady Rice, Robbie Mobley, Norbert Tobias, 
Chris Mobley, Howard Mobley, Charles Webster, Tim Malin and Wayne Morris. 
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Norbert was born 06, June 1918 in Hilltonia, Screven County, GA; the oldest 
child of Ernest Christopher, Sr. & Nellie Mae White Mobley. 
He was preceded in death by sister: Carolyn June Mobley, brothers: Ernest 
Christopher Mobley, Jr., Carson WIlliam "C.W." Mobley, Howard Emerson Mobley, 
Sr. and Laurie Evans (Mobley) Currington.
