Obituary


Mrs. Dennie Bargeron McClellan, 83, Gough, Ga., died
Friday in Burke County Hospital after a brief
illness.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Hopper-
Deloach Funeral Home.  (Buried with her husband in
Magnolia Cemetery)

A native of Burke County, she was a member of Gough
Baptist Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ada McClellan,
Gough, Mrs. W. D. Blount, Atlanta, Mrs. C. B. Lamb,
Louisville, Mrs. Dorothy Knight, Waynesboro; two
sons, T. M. McClellan and William McClellan, Jr.,
both of Gough; sister Mrs. Charles Delaigh, Savannah;
brother John Bargeron, Lyons, Ga.; 19 grandchildren
and nieces and nephews.


(Note: Deanna "Dennie Belle" Bargeron McClellan, born
Oct. 19, 1883, was the daughter of  Richard A. and
Melvina "Nellie" Ward Bargeron. She married William
McClellan on Dec. 10, 1899 in Burke Co., Ga.)
