The True Citizen, Waynesboro, Ga, Burke County
On Sunday afternoon a party of young people including, Mr. Robert Mallard, 
from Sylvania motored into Sardis, Ga., about 2 o'clock and stopped in front 
of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Sasser, where Miss Pearl, the oldest daughter 
of the household joined the party. The next stop was at the home of the Rev. 
Ivey when they left Mr. Ivey's home a placecard "Just Married" on the rear of 
the car told the story. The Bride has a hold of friends in Sardis who join in 
wishing the happy couple a pleasant voyage.
