   In the name of God Amen
I, William Hoard of the County of Butts being feeble in body and weak but of 
Perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God calling unto mind that the 
montuery of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die 
to make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament. That is to say principally 
(principy) and first of all, I given and recomend my sole unto almighty God 
that gave it and my body I recomend to the Earth to be buried in decent and 
Christian burial at the discretion of my Executor routing doubly but at the 
same uses such in. I shall receive the same again by the mighty Powers of God 
and as tuching suching such worth Estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless 
me in this life. I give and derive and dispose of the same in the following 
manner & form. To wit: First and last my Will and desire is that I posess, 
Lands, store, and everything I posess be sold & equally divided between my 
beloved wife Sarah J. Hoard and the legal heirs of my body. To wit: James M. 
Hoard, Annie Dotson, Lewis H. Hoard, Clarissa Gardner, Thomas J. Hoard, Arthur 
D. Horard, John Hoard, Hannah Reeves, William A. Hoard, Martha Lewis, Ephraim 
Hoard, Emily Clark, Harrison Hoard, Nancy Morris, Mahaly C. Kimbrough, 
Elizabeth Virdaman.
Between them or their heirs or assighens I likewise constitute make and ordain 
my son Arthur D. Hoard the sole Exector of this my last Will & Testament. I do 
hereby utterly, disavow, revoke and disanull all and any other sooner 
testamentation Will's (Liguires) bequest and Executions by me in any wire 
before this my last will and bequests satisfying and confirming this and no 
other as my last Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand seal this the twenty-second 
(22) day of April in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and seventy-one.

Signed, sealed, published, pronounced distoric by the same William Hoard as 
his last Will and Testament in  the presents of us and in the presents of each 
other have hereunto Subscribed our names

Butts Court of Ordinary at Chamber Jan 30 1873. The Last Will and Testament of 
William Hoard Late of said County. Diciasu being preuducw in Court by Arthur D 
Hoard Executor there in name and appointed the said will. The witnesses to 
said will to wit: William M Harbin, John J Saunders, G B Elder, T F Truman, 
William A. Tipton who being duly sworn says that they saw said William Hoard 
sign his blis and declare the within as his last will and testament while of 
sound mind and his having memory and that they witnessed the same at his said 
request in his presents and in the presents of each other and that the same 
was signed being voluntary and sworn to & subscibed before

Butts Court of Ordinary Feb Term 1873. Wherears the Last Will & Testament of 
William Hoard has been proven in common form at Law in chambers on the 30th 
day of January 1873 and no objections being filed to the same is ordered by 
the court the same be admitted to record as the Last Will and Testament of 
said William Hoard decessed.

I, A D Hoard Executor in and by the Last Will and Testament by William Hoard 
named and appointed do hereby renounce & resign & refuse to qualify as 
Executor of said Will
