GEORGIA – Butts County    -   April 5,1854

This indenture made and entered into this fifth day of April, One Thousand 
Eight Hundred Fifty Four between Sarah  Bankston of one part of the above State 
and County and G. B. H . Turner of the same state and county of the other 
part.  Witnesseth that the said Sarah. G. Bankston for and in consideration of 
the sum of Thirty Dollars in having paid at and before the sealing and deliver 
of this presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted 
bargain and sold unto him the said G.B.H.  Turner his heirs and assigns all 
that or parcel of land situated lying and being in the original fourth district 
of Monroe now Butts knows as a part of Lot No. 32, containing eighty acres more 
or less lying in the north most corner of said lot lines running as follows.

Commencing at the original north west corner then running east to a large 
gully, below the present house thru a south three acres length then west the 
same distance as the original line then to the commencing corner same distance 
as the other and three acres wide, to  have and to hold the said bargains, 
promises to him the said G. B. H. Turner his heirs and assigns forever in fee 
simple  and the said Sarah G. Bankston for herself, her heirs executions and 
administrators  to the above  described land unto him the said G. B. H. Turner 
his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right thereof against 
herself and against all and every other person or persons whatever.  In witness 
whereof the said Sarah G. Bankston hath hereunto set her hand and affix her 
seal the day and date above written.

GEORGIA – Butts County

I, Green B Turner the person to whom the above and foregoing  deed is made do 
by these presents acknowledge and agree that there is an error in said deed as 
regards the beginning point, instead of commencing at the north west corner of 
the original lot it should commence at the North west corner of the east half 
of said lot.  Given under my hand and seal this 6th day of February 1864.

Additional Comments:
  Between the name Sarah and Bankston there is a small arrow below  which 
points up to what looks like a small “g”.
  This last letter in the initial looks like an “M” in one place but other 
places it appears as an “H”
