Between John Bankston of the one part and Uriah Taylor of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Bankston for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid, hath bargained, sold, allien, convey all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county aforesaid of the one part and Uriah Taylor of the other part witnesseth containing fifty acres more or less being part of Lot No. Fifty lying in the ninth district of said county, in the north east corner of said lot or parcel of land and to hold the tract of land together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenancy thereof with the remainder and remainders, revision and revisions, rights, members and appeartenancy thereof to the only proper use benefit and like of him the said Uriah Taylor, his heirs and assigns in fee simple and the said John Bankston for himself his heirs and assigns do warrant and forever defend against all other persons or persons to the said Uriah Taylor doth warrant and forever defend. In witness whereunto I have by set my hand and seal, this day and year first above written. Signed sealed and delivered in the present of: John R. Cargile who being duly sworn saith that he deposeth and said that he saw John Bankston sign seal and deliver the written deed for the purpose therein mentioned that the deponent subscribed the same as a witness and saw Isiah Hardy and Joseph Benton in do so likewise sworn to and subscribed before me this 22nd October 1825.
