Witnesseth that the said Samuel Collins for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which he has and bears to his said wife Lavisa hath given, granted, conveyed and does by these present give grand and convey unto his said wife Lavisa after his death for her own use benefit & C, but until his death to remain his and be cultivated and managed as heretofore by him or as he otherwise pleases. Except the sale of it and if she should die first this deed to be void. The south half of lot of land number sixty seven in the second district originally Henry, now Butts County, containing one hundred, one and one fourth acres, more or less being the place upon which said Collins now resides and supposed by him to be worth five hundred dollars. To have and to hold said land unto his(as pr the condition alone) the said Lavisa Collins her heirs and assigns together will alike and singular the rights. Members and appurtenances to the same in any manner belonging to her and their own proper use benefit and behoof(after said Collins death) for ever in fee simple In testimony when of said Collins hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above in presents of: R.
