Gold Digging - South River

1847, November 17—This Indenture made between William T. Hodghill to Martin R.
McDaniel, both of Butts County. For and in consideration of the sum of $2000 
Dollars
assigns a certain tract of land in the 8th District originally Henry, now Butts 
County being
known as lot 157 in said district with the exception of such part of said lot 
that lies on the
South River. Also lot known as number 165 in the 8th district containing
202 VT, acres reserving all the mining interest and privilege of digging gold 
to said
William T. Hodghill.
