Jackson Argus – Week Of January 14, 1897 January 14, 1897
Albert Wright a Towaliga district negro, is in jail on a charge of criminal
assault on his daughter.

He had a preliminary trial before Justice Bell and was bound over to the
Superior court for trial.

The evidence against him is damaging.
