E. Harpo tells The Argus that he has received notice that the Butts county Rural Free Deliveries Nos. 2 and 3, to Towaliga and Base will not be put in operation until March 1st, the department finding it impossible to complete arrangements sooner than that date. The carriers have been appointed as follows: Robt. C. Thomas, Base Route No. 2; Thos. O. Woodward, McKibben Route No.3 Salary of $500 each per annum. Those living along these routes will bear in mind that by order of the Postmaster General they must equip themselves with boxes before the route is established and Postmaster Harp must report that they have so complied before the route will be put in operation. Carrier will carry locked pouch to Towaliga and Elgin.
