The carrier made his last trip and brought in the effects of the office and turned them over to the Jackson office. It will be superseded by R. F. D. No. 2. This route will be inaugurated on the first day of March, in case the patrons along the line provide the proper boxes for the reception of their mail, the Postmaster-General having instructed that the route will not be started until the boxes are in position. The people along the route will be in a position to procure money orders and register their valuable letters, by the carrier, without additional trouble by the carrier.
