Although perfectly well all day Saturday, his wife and sister were aroused during the night by his frantic ravings. As soon as it was light enough to travel they sent for Dr. Will Butler. Bohannon became quiet, and they, after putting a hot brick to his feet, sat down in front of the fire to await the arrival of the doctor. When Dr. Butner arrived he examined and found that Bohannon was dead. Dr. Butner says the cause puzzles him as the symptoms and effect resembled poisoning more than anything else. Another strange thing is that although Bohannon was paid $54 a few days before, and had not been known to spend any of it, his wife could find only five dollars in his clothes after death. The case is attracting a great deal of comment in the neighborhood. The Argus extends its deepest sympathy to the relatives Jackson Argus – Week of December 13, 1901 File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/butts/newspapers/bohannon3219nw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
