W. F. Smith of Flovilla was in the city Monday and stated to The Argus that he was now engaged in securing the right of way for the railroad from Flovilla to Smith’s Mills on the Ocmulgee river. The Argus gave this great scheme a write up a few weeks ago and it is very encouraging to see that the plans then outlined are being put in to effect in regular order. Capt. Smith is a genius. He is full of enterprise and this section is largely indebted to him for much of his progressive spirit.
