Jackson Argus May 4, 1900
The convict, Charley McKibben, who escaped some weeks ago has been captured in 
Alabama and will be sent back to complete his term.

Sheriff Crawford has been working on the case since the escape and the capture 
of he convict is cause for congratulations on the part of the county.
