Augusta Chronicle March 7, 1801
COLLECTOR'S SALES.

At the court house in Waynesborough, Burke County, on Saturday the 9th of May, 
at the usual hours: WILL BE SOLD, 100 acres of land on Savannah river, Burke 
county; the property of Francis Paris, sen. taken to satisfy his tax for 1799; 
tax D.4 7 1/2 cents, with cost.

2oo acres pine land in Scriven county, returned by Edmund Roberts, and taken
to satisfy his tax for 1799.

One house and lot in the town of Waynesborough, returned by Wiliam S.Smith; 
taken to satisfy his tax for 1799.
