At present there is only one family, consisting of the five Negroes from near Flovilla, who were removed there this week. Of the five at the camp there is only one case of smallpox, the others being held as suspects on account of their being thrown in company with the case under treatment. Messrs. Matt McMichael and B. T. Deason have been employed as nurses and have entered upon the discharge of their duties in this capacity. Dr. W. C. Bryant will be the physician in charge and he will remain at the camp until the disease is stamped out. He went out yesterday morning and took charge of the affairs at the camp.
