Middle Ga. Argus – week of October 19, 1893
On Sunday night some thief or thieves went to the home of Ben English, col., 
near Weaver’s mill, hitched his mule to his buggy and drove away.  It seems 
that they expected to take a trip and return before day, but just before 
reaching English’s home the buggy broke down, so they unharnessed the mule and 
turned it loose, leaving the buggy and harness in the road.
