Jackson News – Week of April 19,1882
We are sorry to learn that Mrs. Gehitty McMichael, the mother of our worthy 
Baptist minister, is very feeble and has been expected to die for several 
days.  Should she live to see next Christmas she will have reached one hundred 
years of age.
