The mother of the lady was near by, and was also knocked down by the lightning, but being but slightly injured, she went to her daughter, whose hair was set on fire by the lightning. She succeeded in putting out the flame. Mrs. Cope breathed but once or twice after being struck. The little boy, we hear, has recovered from his injuries.
