J. Hencely’s family in your last issue. Mrs. Hencely was at the time up, and going about the house. The oldest daughter, who was the first to be taken sick, has been up for several weeks, and Mr. Hencely and the youngest child were then out of danger. Dr. J. Lee Byron has been waiting on this family since the 28th of August, and though four of them were exceedingly ill with typhoid fever, two being down a t a time, he has had the good fortune to see them all get well. This is a tribute to his medical skill and fidelity and his patients. At one time it seemed almost impossible for Mr. Hencely to get well, but the good physician never gave up and success finally came. I am glad to say that the people of Jackson have helped them several times and I am sure they are ready to do so again if necessary. G. W.
