Argus – Week of April 1, 1884 Henry Amos and Cosh Flynt of Blackankle district, were arrested on Saturday morning, on the charge of illicit stilling, and carried to Macon for trial. Up to this writing we have not heard the result. We understand that a still was found by the revenue authorities in the community where those two men live, which with a quantity of beer was destroyed but they claim to know nothing of it nor have never run the same. We dislike to hear of our citizens being punished but unhesitatingly say that this thing of elicit stilling should be broke up as there is no use of a man violating the law in this county to make a living.
