Middle Ga. Argus – February 12, 1884
We accepted a seat in the buggy with that prince of good fellows J. O. 
Beauchamp on Wednesday last and took a pleasant ride out to Towaliga to attend 
the sale of the perishable property of Samuel Ridgeway, dec’d. We found a large 
crowd gathered.  The sale continued through the greater part of the day and the 
various articles offered brought good prices.  Space forbids us saying more.
