Jackson Argus – Week Of March 11, 1897 March 11, 1897
Henry Lyons a peaceable old negro of Towaliga district, was killed by one Berry
Benton, another son of Ham, on last Sunday night.   Uncle Jesse and his jury
decided that the killing was contrary to law and Berry is now boarding with Mr.
Beauchamp, at Hotel de Crawford.
