Mrs. Hilley hs certainly had a severe and lingering spell of sickness, having been confined to her bed, unable to as much as raise her head, for 100 days. A part of this time she has been unconscious. Dr. J. W. Harper, her physician has made 238 professional visits during her confinement, and is yet going twice a day. Dr. Mapp, of this place has also paid her quite a number of calls, while Drs. White, of Flovilla, and Wood, of Henry county, have been consulted frequently regarding the case and have rendered their services. The skill and attention of the physicians have doubtless kept their patient alive until now, but it seems to be beyond medical power to effect a recovery. For more than three months anxious relatives and friends have been watching y her bedside night and day hoping to see a change for the better, but at the same time hardly believing she could live another day, so serious is her condition. The Argus hopes that Mrs. Hillley may yet fully recover to be a blessing to her young husband and baby and community in which she lives.
