By the Will of the late Alex Sanders of Indian Spring, one of his daughters was cut off with a $5 allowance. Mrs. Slaughter sought to have the Will set aside and much evidence was introduced to prove that the testator was an imbecile at the time of the making of the Will and not capable of forming a rational desire as to what should become of his property. The case was one which involved some fine points of law, and the hearing occupied a part of two days. The judgment of the ordinary was that the contention of the caveatrix (exact as spelled) Mrs. Slaughter, was named and that the Will should not stand. It is likely that the case will be appealed to the Superior Court.
