It is said the Griffin Banking co. and Messrs. Robert Smith, W. F. Smith and George B. Elder and the creditors to whom the proceeds of the sale will be applied. We have heard it rumored that these gentlemen intend settling the claim of the Griffin Banking Co., and will operate the road themselves during the coming season, but of course the formality of a sale will have to be gone through with.
