R. Gilmore, on East Third street. The decoration throughout the house were elaborate and artistic. Southern smilax and palms were used in abundance. To the strains of Mendelssohn’s wedding march, rendered by Miss Lois Biles, the four attendants, Misses Eloise Meredith, Annie Gilmore, Hazel Coleman and Pauline Mallett, entered bearing white ribbon and forming an aisle for the bride and groom. The attendants were handsomely gowned in white, and carried bouquets of ferns. Then came the groom with his best man, Mr. Bert Jinks, followed by the bride with her maid of honor, Miss Flossie Jinks. They were met at the altar by Rev. s. P. Wiggins, who performed the ceremony in an impressive manner. During the ceremony “Slumber Sweetly” was softly rendered on the piano by Miss Biles. The bride wore a very handsome gown of blue chiffon broadcloth with ht nd gloves to match, and carried a shower bouquet of carnations. Congratulation were received in the hall, after which a salad course was served by Misses Alice Mae Hanes and Sally Mae Fletcher.
