Jackson Argus – Butts County September 16, 1898
A new Baptist church was constituted down at Base, near the residence of O. W. 
Moore, last Monday.  It is called Moore’s Chapel.

They have recently erected  a new and commodious house of worship, mainly 
through the efforts of that consistent Christian lady Mrs. O. W. Moore, and we 
rejoice with them in its successful completion
