Middle Ga. Argus – Week of November 10, 1883
Last Thursday was another enjoyable day among our citizens, it being the 17th 
anniversary of the wedding of Mrs. And Mr. T. J. Higgins, which they celebrated 
with a grand dinner, to which a large number of their friends were invited.  
The writer was among the seventy-five who accepted the invitation, and partook 
of the feast, and a royal feast it was.  We hope they may live to celebrate 
their seventieth birthday, and prosperity enable them to celebrate each 
anniversary with such a feast as this one.
