A Negro preacher and Riley Wise were first stricken and immediately became crazy, while they complained of nothing hurting them. And lastly a few days since Mr. J. e. Bankston a prosperous merchant and worthy citizen of our town was stricken and is non- compos mentis. He is being attended by Drs. Mapp, Lang and Gunter. His restoration to health is said to be doubtful. The people feel certain that a terrible epidemic is not contagion has broken out among us. Additional Comments: James E. Bankston did not die from this disease and lived till November 1916 This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.2 Kb
