Freight Train Accident

While freight train was trying to make a running switch here one day last week, 
Mr. Charlie Smith, a train hand in attempting to couple the cars, lost his 
balance and fell and was run over by a portion of the train and instantly 
killed.  His fellow laborers seemed to be disaffected, but some of the people 
of this place shed tears for the unfortunate man’s mother, repeating the poem:” 
Somebody’s darling is dying now”, etc.
