H. Hafer, Painfully Hurt Mr. W. H. Hafer, the chief painter of the Jackson Carriage Factory, happened on a painful accident on Saturday morning. While at his regular work, a brick stove flue that was built upon the “joice” over-head gave away and came down like a thousand bricks upon his head, lacerating and bruising his scalp to a painful extent. Dr. Bryans dressed the wounds, and Mr. Hafer, though able to walk around, is still suffering from the terrible blow. Middle Ga.
