Middle Ga Argus
Be it ordained by the town council of the town of Jackson that after this date 
each and every person having a privy, be required to clean the same at least 
once a week, so as to prevent foul odors and gasses arising from the same.  And 
on failure to do so, a fine of one dollar for each offence will be imposed.


Be it ordained that the marshal shall visit each and every privy in town once a 
week, and report the condition of the same in a book to be kept for that 
purpose, and upon failure to make such inspection and report in writing, will 
be fined for each offence twenty-five cents.

The above ordinances to take effect one week from the publication of the same.  
All ordinances in conflict with the above are hereby repealed.
