Middle Ga. Argus – Week of April 28,1881
Jesse Baron, colored, who was convicted two years ago in Butts Superior court 
of robbing Mr. McDaniels smokehouse near Jackson, and sentenced to five years 
in the penitentiary, but broke jail and escaped, was captured a few days ago in 
Macon.
