Middle Ga. Argus – Week of March 24, 1891
Two Negroes, Joe Watkins and Oliver Byars, indulged in the “fun” of shooting at 
each other on Saturday night at Indian Spring.  Joe Watkins was shot and is not 
expected to live.  We have not heard the particulars.
