Middle Ga. Argus – Week of June 16, 1891
We understand that some bees got on the war path in Stockbridge last Saturday, 
while being robbed and the citizens were all compelled to either close doors or 
leave town.  It is reported that a horse belonging to Mr. Clark was stung to 
death by them, the information being given by a drummer direct from the scene.
