Jackson Argus June 1901
Ordinance – Grazing Stock
Be it ordained: by the mayor and council of the town of Jackson, and it is 
hereby ordained by authority of same, That any person or persons shall be 
allowed to hold out (not to tie under penalty of from $5.00 to $25.00) for 
purpose of grazing any horse, cow or cattle on the streets of Jackson, with the 
exception of the following named streets: First, Second, Third, Covington, 
Indian Spring, Mulberry, Oak and King Streets.
Be it further ordained, that all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict 
with the above ordinance be, and the same are hereby repealed, this June 11th, 
1901
