Flovilla And Indian Spring Enterprise August 1893
The Tabernacle in Readiness

The great Holiness Camp Meeting will convene at the grounds on I.S. & F., R.R. 
midway between Flovilla and Indian Springs on August 29th.  Captain Smith 
tells us that the Tabernacle is completed and seats will all be in place 
before the meeting begins.  The Tabernacle is a large structure, capable of 
seating five thousand people; it is arranged in an amphitheater style.  This 
is an elegant building and a great work is expected to be done there.  A 
number of Evangelist and able Divines will be there and an immense crowd is 
expected.

Mr. Thrower will run the hotel on the grounds and tells us that he is now 
ready for boarders, having several rooms.  Mr. Thrower will set a good table 
and only charge 25 cents a meal and 25 cents for lodging.  Those wishing a 
good rest before the meeting will do well to come on as all things are ready.

Its nearness to Indian Springs, the famous health resort and the cheap rates 
on the I.S. & F railroad will cause a great crowd to go to the meeting.  
Several houses are on the grounds and others will be erected before the 
meeting opens.  Flovilla and the Spring can accommodate large crowds.

The preaching will be good, the singing fine and the entire services well 
worth the attending.  The noted revivalist Rev. J. B. Culpepper, is expected, 
besides other noted Evangelist, the singing will be led by that sweet singer, 
Charlie Tillman, it will be a good place to go.
