Jackson Argus – Week Of September 10, 1896 September 10, 1896
The Wigwam will close its doors to public patronage today.   The season just
passed has been one of the most successful in the history of this famous
hostelry.  Manager Scoville has had good crowds, larger than any season before
and has managed the hotel in a way which won for him permanent and lasting
visitors.   He will be the manager again next season.
