Jackson Argus – Butts County, Week of September 2, 1898
We regret to announce the death of Mrs. John Boatner, wife of Mr. John Boatner, 
who resides a few miles from town.  Her death occurred the 29th, of this month, 
the funeral occurred at 11 o’clock Tuesday at Indian Creek church.  A large 
number of friends and relatives were present.   Rev. J. A. Jackson preached the 
funeral
