Byars, aged 29, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J.Byars, at 5 o’clock Wednesday morning. He had been in ill health for some time and death was not unexpected. Mr. Byars was formerly a member of the coast artillery corps and was stationed on the pacific coast. It was while serving in the army that Mr. Byars became ill and he was discharged. He had a large number of friends throughout the county who regret to learn of his passing. Mr. Byars is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Byars; six brothers, Messrs. M. F., Paul, Phillip, Enoc, Joel and Harry Byars; two sisters, Misses Mary Lois and Ruth Byars. The funeral was held at the Watkins-Byars cemetery Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock.
