Butts County Progress
Miss Florence Carter – Death

Miss Florence, age 22 years and daughter of C. R. Carter, tax collector of 
butts county, died at their home four miles from Jackson Tuesday morning.

The immediate cause of her death was pneumonia, although she had lingered 
close to death with tuberoses for several weeks.

Funeral rites were conducted by Rev. Vaught and interment took place at 
Towaliga Wednesday afternoon.
