After being gone from the yard for some time, she returned to find the little fellow suspended in the air with a rope around its neck, dead. The death of the child came a great shock to its parents. Just how it happened to get entangled in the rope is not known. Coroner McElroy was notified of the death, though no inquest was held, as this ws probably not thought necessary under the circumstances. The stricken parents have the sympathy of a host of friends in this sad blow.
