Jackson Argus - Wk of Aug 4, 1899
Mr. Bryant Cole, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of this county, 
died at his home near Flovilla last Wednesday and was buried at Macedonia 
cemetery the day following.   He had been a faithful Christian for many years, 
and against his good name there comes not the slightest whisper of suspicion.  
His children are among our most worthy and honored citizens.
