Crawley, one of Jackson’s best young men, died at his home here last Wednesday morning and was buried at the city cemetery yesterday morning. The funeral sermon was preached at the M. E. church by Rev. J. M. Bowden, the pastor of the deceased. It was a good sermon and visibly affected the large audience. Mr. Crawley was a noble, Christian young man and his wife and children are entitled to the tenderest sympathy of the people. Other relatives he had who were near and ear and they, too, are heart broken and sad. The Argus offers its condolence to the bereaved family in the loss of so noble a member.
